Task One:
The concept of personal and professional development is the process in which the organisation and individual engagement of the employees towards the process of learning in the meeting of challenges and desired goals for the organisation’s growth and development. The professional development refers to the development and improvement of the skills through instructors as this will help in meeting the needs of the organisational workers (Barrow, et. al., 2015). The personal development helps the employees for the development of self-confidence and motivational skills for the employees to improve their self-performance for the benefits of the organisation.
Short term goals are the goals which are needed to be completed shortly which can be meant by today, this week, this month or this year. The short term goals are needed to be accomplished soon in the low time (Beausaert, et. al., 2015). I have various short term goals for the university career in which I am planning to learn new skills, participate in various events of the university and develop learning skills which are important for the growth and development. These short term goals are very important for me to develop my skills on a personal and professional level which are very useful and impactful for the development.
Medium-term goals are the goals which can take a bit longer to be accomplished when compared to the short term goals that are it takes around months to achieve the goals. I have various medium-term goals in which I decided to lose 5kg of weight in 6 months, a complete 5-month crash course of technical skills and learn a new language in a year (Bintani, 2020). These are medium-term goals which will take a bit more of time than the short term goals and help in achieving various goals to accomplish targets on the given timeline for personal and professional development.
Long term goals are the goals which are needed to be fulfilled in the future. Long term goals are the goals which require time and planning for the accomplishment of the goals (Lejeune, et. al., 2018). These goals are required years for completing the goals. I have various long term goals in which getting a reputed job profile, opening own business and urging for success in my field are some of the long term goals which will help in the personal and professional growth and development as the career path are highly advantaged by the long term goals which are important for by growth and development.
Personal development planning is the process of plan creation based on the goal setting, awareness, reflection, and values and planning for the personal development in the context of education, relationship, career or self-improvement. The personal development plan will help in development and growth on a personal and professional level for the development of the person on various levels. I will make a plan for the personal development to achieve the goal of achieving career path for the growth and development in which I will identify for the situation and work on the skills which are required for the development of the goals and target (Grit, 2019). The personal development plan will help in the easy and fast achievement of the targeted goals for personal and professional development.
Task Two:
Describe and discuss how ‘Author, Purpose, Reliability and Relevance’ affect the use of a source.
Author, purpose, reliability and relevance can affect the use of a source on various manners as the source is the most important part for the identification of the origin of any thought or point of view (Rimmer, 2018). The authors are the originators of the thought for the source which can be used in the situation for the purpose, reliability and relevance of the sources. These are very affective for the use of source as these are relevant for the source as this will be affective in the reliability of the sources and career development.

Purpose: The main motive of this source to described regarding the business plan and also evaluates the new venture creation and growth.
Reliability: This source helps in concentrate on developing business plan which assist in describing the business operations and its functions.
Relevance: It is relevant and accurate source that assists in analysing the business plans and evaluate the development and creation.

Purpose: Main purpose of this source is to improving the performance and conduct training.
Reliability: Helps in evaluating the personal development plan.
Relevance: It is relevant for evaluating the performance improvement.

Purpose: The main purpose of this source to describes about the personal development plan as the guidance and counselling.
